NAME
       pecompat	- Maximize compatibility of a Windows PE file

SYNOPSIS
       pecompat	exe_file

DESCRIPTION
       Patches a Windows 32-bit	PE executable file to maximize its
       compatibility with older	versions of Windows.

       Specifically, it:

       •   Clears the linker time stamp

       •   Sets	the required OS	version	and subsystem to "4.00"	(Windows 95)

       •   Recalculates	the PE checksum

       •   Warns if any	Unicode	import functions are used
