XmtGetHomeDir(3) Library Functions Manual XmtGetHomeDir(3) NAME XmtGetHomeDir() - return the user's home directory. SYNOPSIS #include <Xmt/Xmt.h> String XmtGetHomeDir(void) ARGUMENTS INPUTS None. RETURNS The user's home directory. You must not modify or free this value. DESCRIPTION For Unix systems, XmtGetHomeDir() figures out where the user's home direc- tory is, and returns it as a fully-qualified directory name. This value is cached so that multiple calls to this function are very efficient. The re- turned string is owned by Xmt and you must not modify or free it.
