NAME
     lis_matrix_shift_diagonal - shift the digonal elemments of the matrix

SYNOPSIS
     #include "lis.h"

     LIS_INT lis_matrix_shift_diagonal(LIS_MATRIX A, LIS_SCALAR alpha);

DESCRIPTION
     Shift the diagonal elements of matrix A.

INPUT
INPUT
     alpha  The amount of the shift

     A	    The matrix

OUTPUT
     A	    The shifted matrix

EXIT STATUS
     The following exit values are returned:

     0	    The process is normally terminated

     unspecified
	    An error occurred
