SYNOPSIS
     STATSF_SUM_X(ptr)

ARGUMENTS
     ptr	     Pointer to a statsf_t structure

DESCRIPTION
     Accessor  macro for sum_x.  Use this macro to reference sum_x in a statsf_t
     structure from functions that are not members of the  class.   This  allows
     separation  of  implementation from interface.  While the implementation of
     the statsf_t structure may change, effort is made to preserve  the  API  of
     functions and macros used to access it.

EXAMPLES
     statsf_t	     statsf;
     double	     sum_x;

     sum_x = STATSF_SUM_X(&statsf);
