FORTUNELOCK(1) General Commands Manual FORTUNELOCK(1) NAME fortunelock - locks virtual terminal while displaying fortune cookies SYNOPSIS fortunelock DESCRIPTION Fortunelock is a "keep it simple, stupid" program to lock a terminal with while displaying fortune cookies from the fortune(6) program. It was designed to be as small and simple as possible and therefore does not support PAM, NIS, shadow passwords or even regular passwords: the user must enter a lock password to lock the terminal.
