NAME
       getabstime -- Get Current Time Stamp

SYNOPSIS
       getabstime

DESCRIPTION
       getabstime  prints  the current 64-bit time stamp in microseconds since
       the epoch (i.e. 1970-01-01 00:00.00.000000 UTC).
