gnutls_x509_crq_sign(3) gnutls gnutls_x509_crq_sign(3) NAME gnutls_x509_crq_sign - API function SYNOPSIS #include <gnutls/x509.h> int gnutls_x509_crq_sign(gnutls_x509_crq_t crq, gnutls_x509_privkey_t key); ARGUMENTS gnutls_x509_crq_t crq should contain a gnutls_x509_crq_t type gnutls_x509_privkey_t key holds a private key DESCRIPTION This function is the same a gnutls_x509_crq_sign2() with no flags, and an appropriate hash algorithm. The hash algorithm used may vary between ver- sions of GnuTLS, and it is tied to the security level of the issuer's pub- lic key. A known limitation of this function is, that a newly-signed request will not be fully functional (e.g., for signature verification), until it is ex- ported an re-imported. RETURNS On success, GNUTLS_E_SUCCESS (0) is returned, otherwise a negative error value. REPORTING BUGS Report bugs to <bugs@gnutls.org>.
