JIS2GB(1) General Commands Manual JIS2GB(1) NAME jis2gb - convert JIS Kanji to GuoBiao Hanzi SYNOPSYS jis2gb [ -sgbhi ] [ filename... ] DESCRIPTION jis2gb converts JISX0208-1983 and JISX0212-1990 characters to GB2312-80 and GB8565-88 characters. JISX0208-1983 (^[$B), JISX0208-1990 (^[&@^[$B), JISX0212-1990 (^[$(D), JISC6226-1978 (^[$@), and Japanese- EUC are available for Kanji code. OPTIONS -s Input code is Shift-JIS. Microsoft extended IBM code is avail- able. -g Do not use GB8565-88. -b Use Chinese-EUC (8-bit GuoBiao) for output. -h Use HZ-encoding for output. (include -g) -i Force to flush output characters one by one. This is the de- fault when output is a tty. NOTE -gb options should be needed for normal GuoBiao terminals.
