SNOBOL4DIRS(3) CSNOBOL4 Manual SNOBOL4DIRS(3) NAME snobol4dirs - filesystem directory interface for SNOBOL4 SYNOPSYS -INCLUDE 'dirs.sno' DESCRIPTION OPENDIR(path) opens a directory and returns a handle. READDIR(handle) returns a filename or fails. REWINDDIR(handle) rewinds a directory handle. TELLDIR(handle) reports directory handle position. (may not be available on all plat- forms). SEEKDIR(handle,position) adjusts directory handle position. CLOSEDIR(handle) closes directory handle.
