STARTLXQTWAYLAND(1) LXQt Wayland session STARTLXQTWAYLAND(1)

NAME
startlxqtwayland - script to initialize and launch LXQt Wayland ses-
       sions

SYNOPSIS
       startlxqtwayland

DESCRIPTION
startlxqtwayland	is a shell script meant	to initialize and launch LXQt
       Wayland sessions.

Its main tasks	are exporting environment variables, partly after per-
forming corresponding checks, and launching the	configured compositor
which will launch lxqt-session, the LXQt	session	manager. It copies the
basic configuration file(s) to $XDG_CONFIG_USER for the compositor con-
figured in lxqt-config-session if not present and tries to set the key-
       board layout accordingly	to $LANG.

It can	be run directly from tty but rather it is invoked by display
       managers	like SDDM or LightDM.

Display managers	are making use of scripts like startlxqtwayland auto-
matically. Information about	available desktop environments is pro-
       vided by files $XDG_DATA_DIRS/wayland-sessions/*.desktop, typically
       /usr/share/wayland-sessions/*.desktop.

BUGS
Bugs can be reported on https://github.com/lxqt/lxqt-wayland-ses-
       sion/issues.
