UFDBUPDATE(8) Release 1.35 UFDBUPDATE(8) NAME ufdbUpdate - download a URL database SYNOPSIS ufdbUpdate [-v] DESCRIPTION ufdbUpdate downloads a new URL database and signals ufdbguardd to load it. ufdbUpdate is normally called by cron. See also crontab(1) and the ufdb- Guard Reference Manual for more details. OPTIONS -v give a verbose output of all steps. This options is used when ufdb- guard is installed and for debugging purposes. ufdbUpdate parses configuration files to retrieve the username and password to download updates for the URL database. See FILES and the Reference Man- ual for more details.
