xt_ff_tmpfile(3) Library Functions Manual xt_ff_tmpfile(3) NAME xt_ff_tmpfile() - Create a fast file stream connected to a temporary file LIBRARY #include <xtend/file.h> -lxtend SYNOPSIS xt_ff_t *xt_ff_tmpfile(void) ARGUMENTS None. DESCRIPTION xt_ff_tmpfile(3) opens a temporary file using mkstemp(3), returning a xt_ff_t pointer tied to the file descriptor created by mkstemp(3). The file is opened for both reading and writing. This function is analo- gous to tmpfile(3). RETURN VALUES Pointer to a xt_ff_t structure on success, NULL on failure.
