SHTK_CLI_INFO(3) BSD Library Functions Manual SHTK_CLI_INFO(3) NAME shtk_cli_info -- Prints an informational message LIBRARY shtk_import cli SYNOPSIS shtk_cli_info message1 [.. messageN] DESCRIPTION The shtk_cli_info function prints the given informational message to stderr. The message can be provided as one or more arguments as depicted by message1 to messageN; all arguments are concatenated together into a single line. The printed message has the following form, where `progname' is deter- mined by shtk_cli_progname(3): progname: I: message1 .. messageN shtk_cli_info should be used to report script execution progress to the user instead of relying on simple echo(1) calls.
